Gaslighting is a psychological defense mechanism whereby a person, in their denial of reality, invites another to question their sanity, memories, or perception of reality. Whether intentional or unconscious, this type of behavior can erode our confidence in our own perceptions and leave us feeling disconnected from our innate wisdom. Yet, within each of us lies the capacity for unshakeable, embodied knowing.
